Between school, friends, hormones, being a teenager is tough. Friendship Circle shared a heartfelt story about her 14-year-old daughter who tells her, “Mom, I hate having Down Syndrome.”
We love this story from UT San Diego about Toward Maximum Independence, a nonprofit program in San Diego that helps developmentally disabled adults find jobs and coach them along the way.
